Taybeh Winery, Cabernet Sauvignon, Taybeh, Palestine 2021

Made exclusively from grapes grown in the Birzeit Vineyards, which are located on the
outskirts of the city (north of Ramallah) at elevations around 900 meters (3,000 feet) above
sea level. The grapes are grown organically without irrigation giving a high quality, consistent
crop. At harvest time grapes are handpicked at perfect ripeness and transported from the
vineyard to the winery immediately in small boxes.

This is an elegant style of Cabernet Sauvignon just above medium bodied with balanced
flavours of soft dark fruit like currant and cherry, plus underlying note of black currant and bay leaf. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 10 months, which contributes to fleshy
character a toasty notes with green peppercorn on the finish. The tannic structure has mediumfeel and balanced chewy aftertaste.
