Preparing Pomegranate

Peeling a pomegranate for someone is the ultimate act of love. Every time I do it, I think of my mum - of the countless hours she spent carefully opening each fruit, gently freeing the ruby red seeds, never rushing, never bruising. No wooden spoons. No shortcuts. Just patience and care. That quiet act of devotion is etched in my heart, and I know I’ll never peel a pomegranate without thinking of my parents - of those I love. POM recipes are less about step by step instructions and more about weaving care into the practice of cooking- whether for your yourself or for others. We enjoyed making and tasting them, and we hope you do to.
